Can we be the living epistles?

I hear it time and time again. "I witness to so and so, and invited him to church"!!! I am not against them coming to church, but have we assumed the responsibility of being Christlike to this country on the church building? I really don't think a expository sermon, or a meeting all the wonderful Christians in your Christian group is going to cause your unregenerate friend to repent (It may but it will not be by any human means: Jesus Christ saves). Now of course this is me thinking here, but church can we go and be living epistles for all to read. Can we assume the responsibility of sharing the Gospel with the United States and other countries. I'll be honest, I am tired of hearing men say who they invited to church. It makes it seem like they want the pastor, the sermon, or the other members to save their friends or ones they love. For real, I don't even tell men what church I attend when witnessing or loving them in Christ. Instead of inviting them to a group or to join a club, be the living epistle. LOVE THEM. Do good to them, even when they wrong you, and cuss you out. Go hard for the Lord Jesus Christ!!

You yourselves are our letter of recommendation, written on our hearts, to be known and read by all.
(2 Corinthians 3:2 ESV)
