May Update

In the Maryland DC area, GO-GO music is a local thing. It is no played in Gospel music and churches around the area. I hope to the Lord Jesus that your pastor never comes to the pulpit with this going on. Just check it out. Yes in the month of May, foolishness is still going on. Lift up your head my friends and look to the Lord Jesus Christ of the scriptures.

Marriage

Marriage is a beautiful thing. I say this to you all because I know it is. Look I've been married for 3 years and working into our fourth year. I have had a child almost every year of my marriage and my wife is wonderful. I can say that even though we have issues at this time.

Do you want to get married? Consult God 1st, pray about it. It is work, hard work and I am not going to sit here and tell you it's easy. If your looking for the fairytale stuff, where everyday you cuddle with your wife, I am here to tell you that is not what happens. Your trust in the Lord Jesus Christ is going to be needed. I am writing this entry now because of the things we are experiencing. I have been counseled by Godly men who have been married over 20 years, and they too say marriae is work.

Don't get me wrong, marriage has its benefits. Kids are definitely one of them. Getting to know your spouse is the another. I see everyday, I don't know my wife like I thought I did, just like I don't know the Lord Jesus Christ the way I did yesterday. It's real ya'll, and the emotions kind be high in a marriage. I always try to remember the words of our Lord Jesus Christ:


Mark 10:7-9
(7) For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife;
(8) And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh.
(9) What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
