Tithing Manipulation: Malachi 3:8-10

Each one {must do} just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. (2 Corinthians 9:7)

I'm glad that you posted such a video, since I used to be persuaded under the same manipulation, while hoping that it was plain ignorance of the holy writ.

But the burden of The Lord was stated throughout that entire book upon careful study!

I became very bitter at the manipulation going on with the Malachi text. So many use to say that I could do this and be rich. I love how this brother breaks it down...praise the Lord Jesus Christ for His Word...thanks

Sound Doctrine

Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.
(Titus 1:9)

Sola Scripture, the scripture alone is our sound doctrine of the Lord Jesus Christ. Not a pastor, a prophet, or so called apostle can give you pure doctrine like the Word of God, the bible.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
(2 Timothy 3:16-17)

As you will see in my links below, try to stick with teachers who give you the Word straight from the Word. Better yet do what was advised to our brother in Christ Timothy:

Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (2 Timothy 2:15)
