Just before my birthday

My birthday is coming up soon, I thought I’d do a little Q&A about me:

First, why do you keep writing when nobody comments? – Simple, I know people who are still reading what I am writing, so for them I write to the Glory of Jesus Christ

When was the day you came to faith in Jesus Christ? April 25^th, 2001

When is your birthday? – April 5^th

Year born? – 1978 (I’m an 80’s & 90’s kid)

Favorite Music before Christ? Rap,

Favorite Rapper? Biggie and Jay-Z, Wu Tang Clan

Favorite sports teams: Cowboys, Lakers, Yankees, North Carolina Tar Heels (B-Ball)

Married? – Yes (Shannon is my wife)

How long? – 5 years August 14^th, 2009

How long known wife? – Since I was about 11 or 12

Kids? – 3 boys (Isaiah 3 ½, Elijah 2 ½ , David 8 months,Yes planning for one more)

What is your educational history? – K-12: Catholic Schools College: St. Mary’s College (liberal arts – so you know I’ve seen some crazy stuff)

Countries traveled to: Israel, England, Ireland, Venezuela, Bermuda, Virgin Islands,

Favorite Music after Christ? – Gospel rap, Old time hymns, my own singing to Jesus

Favorite Gospel rapper? Lecrae (not a fan, just like his delivery)

Favorite Classic Hymn? – It is well with my soul!

Favorite Song you sing to the Lord? – In the secret place (a song I made up to God)

Favorite Book? The Bible

What has Christ called you to do? - Teach His Word for righ now in small bible studies

Church? – Yes, the body of Christ Jesus

Pet Peeves? – religious people (notice I did not say Christians), butt-kissing (sorry I got to be honest), making men more popular than Christ ( probably any recognition of man over God)!

Most memorable moment beside date of salvation? Actually seeing the land of Israel and Jerusalem where our Lord Jesus Christ walked in Spring 1986. I was baptize in the Jordan River, although I was not a believer @ the time.

Sound Doctrine

Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.
(Titus 1:9)

Sola Scripture, the scripture alone is our sound doctrine of the Lord Jesus Christ. Not a pastor, a prophet, or so called apostle can give you pure doctrine like the Word of God, the bible.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
(2 Timothy 3:16-17)

As you will see in my links below, try to stick with teachers who give you the Word straight from the Word. Better yet do what was advised to our brother in Christ Timothy:

Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (2 Timothy 2:15)
